CONTEXTUAL FIT

NARRATIVE

Originally, the owners planned out the house design to their specific wants at the time but times have changed and now they have kids. They chose this location for its beautiful view of the water along with the quiet surroundings. The owners would like to add on a few additions to accommodate their larger family. They would like to add on a new master suite with a master bathroom, walk in closets and an exercise room. They would also like a new family room and a formal outdoor area for family gatherings. The most important room for this family is the formal outdoor space, so a raised ceiling would help show off that it is different from the other spaces. Family time is most important now, so most of the additions they are trying to add on are solely to share time together in and also have separate spaces from others.
